We are currently at a stage of rapid growth and scaling of our marketing and communication presence across 7 European countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria. In this context, we are looking for a PR / Communication Manager to help develop the Meest International brand, strengthen its reputation, and ensure strong media visibility and public presence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and adapt PR strategies for 7 European markets across corporate, brand, and service communication.
- Align local PR activities with Meest’s global marketing plan.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all markets.
- Create and distribute PR materials (press releases, articles, expert quotes, etc.).
- Build strong relationships with media (traditional, digital, trade) across key markets.
- Manage media inquiries and identify PR opportunities in collaboration with agencies.
- Collaborate with PR agencies on strategy and execution.
- Set KPIs, monitor results, and ensure consistency across markets.
- Approve content and evaluate agency performance.
- Track media coverage and campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare performance reports and ensure accurate data sharing with global teams.
- Support top management with communication materials and public appearances.
- Coordinate sponsorships and events that increase brand visibility.
- Plan and communicate CSR activities to support brand positioning.
- Strengthen corporate reputation through social impact initiatives.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communication, PR or media (preferably as journalist, TV/radio presenter, spokesperson or PR specialist).
- Strong media relations experience with a proven portfolio of media contacts.
- Experience working in an international or regional (multi-country) environment is a strong asset.
- Excellent command of English at a minimum C1 level (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages (especially those relevant to the 7 markets) will be considered an asset.
Nice to have
- Experience in courier, logistics, e-commerce or service industries.
- Understanding of CEE / SEE / European media landscape.
- Experience in CSR or employer branding.
- Public speaking and media spokesperson experience.
